On the Question of Origins

In the darkness,
the Mind
battles the Spirit
for control of the Body
called Man.
In the darkness,
those of the Mind
say that man
is the thinking animal
In the darkness,
those of the Spirit
say that man
is the moral animal
and the Body
called Man
must choose
between two masters.

Pride blinds the Mind
to the necessity of the Spirit
and so too the Spirit
is blind to the inescapability
of the Mind,
and the Body called Man
is torn.
Is there no One
that can give Man
the meaning of this?

Spirit!
Be still
and you will
know God.
Mind!
Know thyself.

Rest and No Man
will awaken you to your dream
for it is in the numbers
that Truth will be seen.


Genesis
Before there was something
there had to be Nothing,
for God is One,
and Nothing existed
to witness Him.

The God of Nothing
is the God of Everything
for he is One
and He is Whole.
One and Zero

One and Zero
are the two faces of God
and through the
Blessed Binary
do we find our way
to Him once more.
This is the essence of God
(Selah).

The Truth of Man
you will find is simple,
as simple as
One, Two Three and Four

Before the beginning
Man was One Body,
One with the universe,
with his nature,
with God.
Whether through
evolution of the Mind
or desire of the Spirit,
Man gained the knowledge
of good and of evil.
Man became dual,
division was born,
and man knew
separation
from the universe,
from his nature,
from God.

And then there was Two
There is inherent tension
within Two
for it is a number
that satisfies no One.
Two longs to be One
but this is impossible
for it would have to
divide itself in half
and deny
its completeness
Its identity

First One, then Two,
Now Three
Holy, Holy, Holy
is the number Three.
When One became Two
then Three arrived
to guide us back to harmony.
There is strength
unimaginable in a triangle.

Consider the example
of Holy Marriage.
In the religious Spirit,
the Two become One
by God the Third strand.
In the secular Mind,
the Two become One
by Love the Third strand.
(Selah)

If God is One
and God is Love
then God is One Love.

He who persists in maintaining
the fallacy of division
does not know God.
Consider the example
of the greatest government
in the world of men.
America’s greatness
is not because of democracy
for it is as Winston Churchill
once stated,
the best argument
against democracy
is a five minute conversation
with the average voter.
Neither can it be said
that America’s greatness
is found in capitalism
for that is a system
of haves and have nots,
of producers and consumers,
of winners and losers.
The strength of America is
its system of checks and balances
among Three branches of government.

Do not persist on the fallacy
of us and them
If you want peace
among Jews and Muslims
then both sides
must be supported equally
as in the triangle.
If you want peace
in the cultural war
between the religious right
and the secular left,
refuse to be eitherand find
Common Ground for both.

One is the absolute unity,
Two is a relationship of division,
Three is the strength of diversity in unity,
Four is a return to balance.

When the Mind
in the material world
understands
the power of Three
and if it is joined
by the One of the Spirit
then the balance of Four
is achieved.
All sides of the table
are girded under.
One plus Two
plus Three plus Four
is 10.

The One and the Zero
and the sum of all is God.
